iAutomation, a full-service automation company, developing robotic solutions and offering design, engineering, and integration (DE&I) services, product support, and production services, has an immediate opening for a Quality Engineer in Franklin, Massachusetts . The Quality Engineer is the Quality point of contact for iAutomation's top and strategic customers, for customer driven actions & requests, and Quality Engineering support. Quality Systems Maintain and improve the Quality Management System (QMS) in compliance with ISO 9001 requirements, including creation and revision of controlled documentation.

Lead and support corrective and preventive action (CPAR) processes, ensuring effective root cause analysis and sustained solutions. Track, analyze, and report quality metrics, trends, and recurring issues to support continuous improvement and KPIs. Assist Quality Management with reporting requirements related to Quality, CSR, and environmental objectives.

Work to defined priorities and deadlines to meet internal and customer-driven quality commitments. Manufacturing Support Support New Product Introduction (NPI) and engineering changes by completing Product Verification Reports (PVRs) and customer PPAPs. Implement and maintain inspection, testing, and reliability methods to ensure product quality.

Investigate internal quality issues using PDCA and 8D methodologies. Participate in Material Review Board (MRB) meetings and support product disposition decisions. Provide cross-functional Quality Engineering support across all iAutomation facilities.

Customer / Supplier Interaction Serve as the primary Quality point of contact for strategic customers, managing customer-driven actions, complaints, and quality requests. Investigate customer complaints and reported quality issues, ensuring timely resolution. Support customer regulatory and compliance requests (e.g., RoHS, REACH).

Monitor and drive timely closure of Supplier Corrective Action Reports (SCARs). Collect, analyze, and summarize customer and supplier quality data to drive continuous improvement. Must Haves: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (i.e. mechanical, chemical, or industrial) 2-5 years of Quality Engineering experience in a regulated manufacturing environment.

Practical understanding of ISO 9001 standard requirements. Experience leading Internal Audits to ISO 9001 standards. Demonstrated use of PDCA cycle, root-cause investigation through 8D methodology.

Well-organized, self-motivated. Able to communicate clearly in-person and writing. Preferred: Familiarity with NetSuite ERP.

Experience interfacing with suppliers & customers. Bi-lingual a plus. Salary Range : $79,500 - $102,800 annually.
