QA Engineer

Job Description Job Title: QA Engineer / QA Analyst Experience Required: 3–4 Years Location: Jaipur Job Role : Full time. Working Days : 5 days in a week. We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive QA professional who can ensure product quality and eventually take ownership at a managerial level.

Role Overview: We are seeking a QA Engineer / Analyst with 3–4 years of experience who will be responsible for end-to-end testing of our mobile application, data validation, issue tracking, and overall quality assurance. The ideal candidate should be capable of working independently, taking ownership, and growing into a QA Manager role. Key Responsibilities: • Perform manual testing of mobile applications (Android/iOS) and web platforms • Design, develop, and execute test cases, test plans, and test scenarios • Conduct functional, regression, integration, and usability testing • Validate astrology-related data accuracy (e.g., user inputs, reports, predictions, calculations) • Identify, document, and track bugs using tools like JIRA, Trello, or similar • Work closely with developers, product managers, and designers to resolve issues • Perform data analysis and validation to ensure system outputs are correct and consistent • Monitor app performance, usability issues, and user experience gaps • Maintain proper documentation of test results and QA processes • Take ownership of release cycles and QA sign-offs • Suggest improvements for product quality and testing processes Requirements Required Skills & Qualifications: • 3–4 years of experience in QA / Software Testing • Strong understanding of software testing methodologies & SDLC • Hands-on experience in manual testing (automation is a plus) • Experience with bug tracking tools like JIRA • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision • Good understanding of mobile app testing • Basic knowledge of databases / SQL for data validation • Excellent communication and documentation skills Good to Have (Bonus Skills): • Experience in automation testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium) • Exposure to API testing tools like Postman • Experience working in startup environments • Interest or basic understanding of astrology domain Benefits Growth Opportunity: This role has a clear path to QA Lead / QA Manager, where you will: • Build and manage a QA team • Define QA strategies and processes • Drive quality across the organization Requirements • 3–4 years of experience in QA / Software Testing • Strong understanding of software testing methodologies & SDLC • Hands-on experience in manual testing (automation is a plus) • Experience with bug tracking tools like JIRA • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision • Good understanding of mobile app testing • Basic knowledge of databases / SQL for data validation • Excellent communication and documentation skills
