Purchasing Manager (Houston)

We’re looking for a Purchasing Manager with deep experience in abrasives, blasting equipment, and surface prep supplies although not neccessary. You’ll manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, control inventory costs, and ensure timely delivery of garnet, steel grit, and specialty media. Key Responsibilities: • Source and qualify suppliers for consumables and equipment • Negotiate pricing and payment terms • Maintain accurate inventory levels and reorder points • Work closely with operations and sales teams Requirements: • Minimum 5 years purchasing experience in industrial supplies • Strong knowledge of the surface preparation market • Excellent negotiation and Microsoft Excel skills We offer a competitive salary along with full benefits and accrued vacation and sick time.
