Protection Engineer with Bilingual Skills

Join SEL's Engineering Services team as a Protection Engineer, where you will design protection schemes for critical power systems. This role requires fluency in French and English, focusing on innovative solutions and technologies. As a Protection Engineer, you will leverage your expertise to support clients worldwide.

You will design and implement relay protection systems, collaborating closely with project managers and engineers. Your work will include system testing and commissioning to ensure optimal performance of protection schemes. Key Responsibilities: • Design protection and control schemes for power systems • Develop protective relay settings for utilities and industrial clients • Collaborate with teams to implement protection strategies • Perform testing and commissioning of protection systems • Uphold SEL Values during project execution Requirements: • Professional Engineers License in Quebec • 5+ years of experience in electric power systems • Strong knowledge of relay protection principles • Familiarity with PSSE, ETAP, and/or RTDS • Fluent in French and English Bring your expertise in power system protection to SEL and contribute to a safer electrical infrastructure. #J-18808-Ljbffr
