Project SCM Manager

Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Project SCM Manager to lead and manage all Supply Chain Management activities for major offshore energy and construction projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing project-specific SCM strategies, overseeing procurement, logistics, expediting, inspection, subcontracting, and supplier management activities to ensure successful project delivery. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement project SCM strategies and procurement plans Lead end-to-end supply chain activities including sourcing, procurement, expediting, inspection, logistics, shipping, customs clearance, and subcontract management Manage supplier and subcontractor selection, commercial negotiations, bid evaluations, and contract administration Ensure compliance with project, contractual, client, and company requirements Coordinate closely with Project Management, Engineering, Project Controls, and Quality teams Monitor SCM performance, identify risks, and implement mitigation plans to support project schedules and budgets Lead and mentor the project SCM team while driving continuous improvement and best practices Prepare regular SCM status reports and project close-out reports, including lessons learned Education & Qualification Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent qualification Minimum 10 years of experience in Supply Chain Management within the oil & gas, offshore construction, EPC, or energy industry At least 3 years of experience in a supervisory or managerial SCM role Experience supporting large-scale project execution and project procurement activities Strong knowledge of procurement, contracts, logistics, expediting, inspection, and supplier management Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, negotiation, and communication skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural project environment Preferred Qualifications Experience in offshore construction, subsea projects, pipeline installation, or marine operations Previous experience in project-focused SCM roles within EPC or offshore energy projects Familiarity with client-approved vendor management processes and project procurement planning
