Project Owner / Project Manager, Software Development

Job Description Job Description We are looking for a strong Project Owner / Project Manager to lead internal software and systems projects across the business. This person will sit between operations, billing, customer service, leadership, and developers to make sure projects are clearly defined, properly prioritized, and driven through completion. This role is for someone who can hold multiple moving parts together, translate business needs into clear requirements, keep teams aligned, and push execution forward without losing control of details.

Key Responsibilities •Own and drive software and systems projects from planning through rollout •Act as the bridge between business stakeholders and developers •Gather requirements and turn them into clear specs, workflows, user stories, and priorities •Keep projects organized, on track, and moving with urgency •Manage timelines, open items, blockers, testing, and follow-up •Run project meetings and maintain accountability across teams •Provide leadership with clear status updates, risks, and next steps What We’re Looking For •3+ years in project management, product ownership, business analysis, or software implementation •Experience working directly with developers on internal tools or software systems •Strong ability to organize projects and manage multiple priorities at once •Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical teams •Strong follow-up, ownership, and attention to detail •Able to work in a fast-paced environment and push projects forward •In-office presence in Brooklyn required Preferred •Experience in healthcare, operations, billing, dispatch, or service-based businesses •Experience with workflow tools, integrations, reporting, or automation •Familiarity with Agile or sprint-based development environments
