Project Manager Commercial Construction

Job Description Job Description Overview A growing commercial general contractor is seeking a Project Manager to oversee projects across retail, office, industrial, and tenant improvement sectors. The Role The Project Manager will take ownership of projects from pre-construction through closeout, managing both the technical and client-facing aspects of delivery. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is comfortable balancing project execution, financial management, and stakeholder coordination. You will play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard.

Responsibilities Manage projects from pre-construction through to completion Develop and maintain project schedules (Microsoft Project preferred) Oversee project budgets, cost tracking, and forecasting Manage RFIs, submittals, and overall document control Coordinate with field teams, subcontractors, and clients Lead and participate in OAC meetings Build and maintain strong client relationships Support business development efforts and contribute to securing new work Requirements Experience working as a Project Manager with a general contractor Strong background in commercial construction, particularly tenant improvement (TI) projects Proficiency with Procore and Microsoft Project Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Strong communication and client-facing skills Highly organized, proactive, and able to take ownership from day one Nice to Have Experience working in smaller, growth-oriented construction teams Exposure to a variety of commercial project types (retail, office, industrial) Salary Competitive Salary Depending on Experience Location Scottsdale, Arizona (project-based / office as required) Benefits Competitive benefits package with strong opportunities for career progression and increased responsibility as the company continues to grow.
