Project Manager (Civil Engineering)

Role: Project Manager – Civil Engineering Compensation: Competitive + Package Location: Projects in Bristol and commutable locations in and around the local area Thatcher Associates is supporting a growing civil engineering contractor with the appointment of a Project Manager to support the delivery of a diverse portfolio of infrastructure and construction projects across the South West. The business operates across a range of sectors, including infrastructure, highways, environmental improvement works, industrial civils and general construction schemes, with projects typically ranging from £2M–£20M in value. This role will suit an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in delivering civil engineering projects under NEC and JCT forms of contract, ideally within live operational environments.

The Role: Managing projects from pre-construction through to completion Coordinating site teams, subcontractors and suppliers Ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme and within budget Managing client and stakeholder relationships throughout project lifecycle Working closely with commercial and operational teams Supporting programme planning, reporting and project controls Requirements: Previous experience delivering civil engineering or infrastructure projects Good understanding of NEC and/or JCT contracts Experience managing projects within the £2M–£20M range preferred You must have UK Civil Engineering Project Experince in the UK A UK Driving Licence is in the UK Strong organisational and communication skills Commercially aware with a proactive and hands-on approach Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and operational teams You are required to be a UK resident or already working for a UK business.
