Job Description
Project Analyst – War Data Platform Everforth ECS is seeking a Project Analyst to work in the National Capital Region covering the Pentagon, Falls Church, and Fairfax. This position is contingent upon contract award. The War Data Platform (WDP) is a key initiative within the U.S.
Department of War's (DoW) AI‑First strategy introduced in early 2026. The WDP focuses on operational warfighting data and aims to accelerate the deployment of artificial intelligence (AI) on the battlefield. The WDP extends to Unclassified, Secret, and Top Secret environments, and supports collaboration between Combatant Commands, Joint Staff directorates, Senior Executive Service leaders, and operational analysts.
Responsibilities The Project Analyst supports program execution across the WDP Core Integration Task Order by delivering structured coordination, documentation, and reporting activities that sustain Government visibility, procurement compliance, and schedule discipline throughout the program lifecycle. Contributes to the accuracy and timeliness of Monthly Status Reports, Kick‑Off Meeting packages, Trip Reports, and procurement documentation under the guidance of senior program management personnel. Assists with scheduling and coordination of Task Order Kick‑Off Meetings by preparing agendas, attendee lists, presentation materials, and meeting logistics.
Drafts formal meeting minutes capturing discussion topics, decisions, and action items for Government review. Supports development of Monthly Status Reports by compiling task progress updates, schedule inputs, personnel status changes, travel summaries, and procurement‑related activities. Maintains tracking logs for action items, milestones, deliverables, and purchasing requests.
Supports preparation and documentation of Requests to Initiate Purchase and Consents to Purchase, tracking submission status, Government approvals, and associated supporting materials. Supports preparation of Trip Reports documenting travel purpose, duration, costs, approvals, and knowledge gained. Organizes project documentation repositories supporting traceability and audit readiness.
Coordinates with project leadership to collect inputs required for reporting, reviews, and approvals. Delivers timely and accurate documentation supporting communication, visibility, and execution discipline across program activities. Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Skills Current Secret security clearance. 3 or more years of progressive experience in program analysis, project coordination, or a closely related discipline, with demonstrated experience supporting documentation and reporting activities in a federal contracting or defense program environment. Experience preparing and coordinating Government‑facing program documentation, including meeting agendas, formal meeting minutes, Monthly Status Reports, and briefing materials, in alignment with Contracting Officer Representative review cycles and PWS reporting requirements. Proven ability to prepare, track, and organize federal procurement documentation, including Requests to Initiate Purchase and Consents to Purchase, within Government‑directed approval workflows, including monitoring submission status and maintaining associated supporting records.
Experience preparing Trip Reports that document travel purpose, employee information, locations, duration, associated costs, approvals, and knowledge or outcomes gained, in compliance with government travel reporting requirements. Proficiency with collaboration, document management, and productivity platforms such as Microsoft SharePoint, Confluence, Microsoft Teams, and Microsoft Office, including experience maintaining structured, version‑controlled program documentation repositories that support audit readiness and traceability. Demonstrated ability to maintain action item logs, milestone trackers, deliverable matrices, and purchasing request registers that provide program leadership with accurate, real‑time visibility into task status and compliance obligations.
Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making capabilities, with a proven ability to weigh the relative costs and benefits of potential actions and identify the most appropriate solution. Highly developed interpersonal and oral/written communication skills, with the ability to effectively and professionally interact with a diverse set of stakeholders (from peers to end‑users to executive management). Desired Skills Familiarity with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) or Agile delivery concepts, including basic working knowledge of Program Increment planning cycles, sprint‑based reporting cadences, and Agile Release Train coordination activities as they relate to Government‑facing deliverable schedules and milestone tracking.
Experience supporting federal procurement coordination within a multi‑vendor or multi‑stakeholder program environment, including familiarity with contract line item structure, Contracting Officer Representative oversight cycles, and documentation requirements associated with recurring purchasing workflows. Active pursuit of or completed Project Management Institute (PMI) Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) certification, or enrollment in a recognized project management training program, demonstrating commitment to professional development and structured program coordination practice. Prior experience supporting Government Kick‑Off Meetings, Program Management Reviews, or equivalent executive‑level coordination events, including demonstrated ability to compile briefing content, capture and distribute formal meeting minutes, and track resulting action items through closure.
Prior internship, academic project, or entry‑level work experience supporting a defense, intelligence community, or federal agency program in a coordination, documentation, or analyst capacity, demonstrating foundational understanding of Government program execution environments and professional standards expected in a cleared federal contracting workplace.
