Production Supervisor

Production Supervisor PROMAN Staffing is supporting our national manufacturing client to source and hire a hands-on Production Supervisor to lead daily manufacturing operations in Des Plaines, IL. In this DIRECT HIRE role, you'll drive safety, quality, and on-time delivery while building a strong, engaged production team. Key Responsibilities Lead, coach, and support production employees Manage daily schedules and staffing to meet production goals Monitor workflow and resolve bottlenecks Ensure quality standards and process compliance Promote a strong safety culture and lead daily safety talks Drive continuous improvement (6S, Kaizen, efficiency gains) Partner with Engineering & Quality teams to solve issues Track and report production metrics and KPIs Qualifications 3–5 years of manufacturing leadership experience Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills Experience with production scheduling and KPIs Familiarity with Lean manufacturing (5S/6S, Kaizen) Experience with ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office Associate or bachelor's degree Experience with ISO 9001 or regulated environments
