The head office and manufacturing unit are located in the Okhla Industrial Area of New Delhi, and the facility is socially and ethically compliant, meeting European and American compliance standards. Salary: ₹35,000–₹40,000 per month (Based on experience) Role Description The Production Manager is a full-time, on-site role based at Rupy Fashions’ manufacturing unit in New Delhi. This role oversees the end-to-end production process, including planning, scheduling, and monitoring of manufacturing activities to meet quality standards, timelines, and cost targets.

The Production Manager coordinates with design, procurement, and quality teams to ensure seamless execution of orders and adherence to client specifications for home textiles and lifestyle products. Daily tasks include managing production staff, optimizing workflow and resource utilization, troubleshooting operational issues, and maintaining compliance with social, ethical, and safety guidelines. The role also involves tracking production metrics, reporting performance, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and product quality.

Qualifications Strong production planning and control skills, including workflow optimization, capacity planning, and resource allocation. Experience in textile or apparel manufacturing processes, including fabric handling, printing, embroidery, applique, and embellishment techniques. Proficiency in quality management, with the ability to implement and monitor quality standards, inspections, and corrective actions.

Team leadership and people management skills, including supervising production staff, training, and performance management. Knowledge of health, safety, social, and ethical compliance requirements relevant to European and American markets. Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple orders and tight timelines.

Effective communication and coordination skills for working with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders. Ability to use production-related documentation and basic computer tools (e.g., spreadsheets, production tracking systems). Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Textile Engineering, Production Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.

Prior experience in a supervisory or managerial role within a manufacturing environment, preferably in home textiles or fashion.
