Experienced Product Security Analyst – Richardson, TX We are seeking an Experienced Product Security Analyst to support the P‑8A program in Richardson, TX. This role is part of the Boeing Defense Space & Security (BDS) Product Security Engineering team, responsible for the cybersecurity and resiliency of Boeing products and services. Position Responsibilities Analyze customer and regulatory system security requirements and decompose them into system security design specifications.

Interface directly with customers and engineers to ensure security requirements are designed into products and evaluated for effectiveness. Act as the key system security focal throughout the DevSecOps framework. Develop IT architecture deliverables for operational systems and systems under development.

Provide technical cybersecurity guidance to IT administrators, systems architects, systems engineers, and software developers. Provide system security guidance on the design and implementation of technical policies for user/computer groups and network devices. Design and implement security systems across the organization’s networks, including IDS, firewalls, log capture, host-based protections, vulnerability scanning tools, and more.

Conduct assessments of existing IT architecture for compliance with security requirements from applicable frameworks. Analyze, triage, aggregate, and report relevant product security and anti‑tamper data and other sources for attack indicators and potential breaches. Assist ISSO and IT administrators with incident investigation and response, including monitoring, interpreting, and reacting to security device outputs.

Assist the ISSO with authentication/accreditation documentation and deployment of security policies, standards, and guidance. Travel & Location Willingness to travel up to 25% to client sites. This position is expected to be 100% onsite in Richardson, TX.

Pre‑Hire Requirements Active U.S. Top Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required).

This clearance must have been active in the past 24 months. Post‑Hire Requirement Ability to obtain and retain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time determined by the company. Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or higher in a technical field. 5+ years of software testing and verification experience.

Active CompTIA Security+ certified (or equivalent DoD Directive 8570.01 certification). 1+ year of experience with Information Assurance Policy & RMF. 1+ year of experience with security and vulnerability scanning tools such as ACAS/Nessus, STIGs, and SCC. 1+ year of experience in complex test planning, development, and execution. Preferred Qualifications DoD 8570.01‑M IAT Level III certification or equivalent (e.g., CASP+, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP). Experience as a Test Engineer or Software Assurance Engineer.

Experience with software development tools (DOORS, ClearCase, GitLab, Jira, Coverity). Experience with threat modeling, attack profiles, and risk assessments on aircraft platforms/weapon systems. Experience evaluating and refining customer security requirements.

Experience documenting system security designs throughout the SDLC (e.g., System Diagrams, Security Plans, Baselines, SOPs). Ability to work independently, lead tasks, projects, or small teams. Customer‑facing experience executing information system security vulnerability assessments, including briefings and reporting.

Experience with RHEL 8+, CISCO IOS/NXOS, Windows Server 2019+, Windows 10+. Experience with scripting languages (PowerShell, Python, Bash, Ansible). Experience creating system security implementations against customer requirements.

Experience installing and configuring Splunk Enterprise, creating apps and dashboards for audit analysis. Experience with Group Policy Management. Experience agile development in a DevSecOps environment.

Education & Experience Levels Level 3: Advanced education (Bachelor) plus 6+ years related work experience or equivalent. Level 4: Advanced education (Bachelor) plus 10+ years related work experience or equivalent.
