Product Manager, Technical

About the Role: The Accounting Technology team is seeking a highly motivated Product Manager, Technical to help lead the vision, strategy, and delivery of technology solutions that power our Accounting and Finance functions. This role bridges business, technical, and financial domains, ensuring that our accounting platforms are scalable, accurate, and innovative while meeting compliance, reporting, and operational needs. The ideal candidate will combine deep technical expertise with strong product management and partnership skills, serving as the central connector between Accounting stakeholders, IT teams, and leadership.

What Youll Do: Partnership & Stakeholder Engagement Act as the primary point of contact for intake processes into the DevOps Accounting Technology teams.

Partner with business stakeholders to assess customer experiences, identify opportunities, and ideate on reporting and analytics solutions. Define and evangelize a strong customer first focus, aligning decision making with IT investment choices and prioritization. Partner with development teams and stakeholders to create, publish, and communicate release schedules.

Communicate clearly and effectively in written and verbal form, with the ability to influence across technical and business groups. Facilitate discussions and help resolve conflicting issues between individuals and teams. Technology & Solution Delivery Collaborate with business partners to identify initiative scope, benefits, and ROI.

Manage the end to end solution space, including technical, functional, process, and accounting policy considerations. Maintain an up to date understanding of relevant technology trends and industry best practices. Develop and communicate a clear perspective on complex technical topics, aligning both technical and non technical stakeholders.

Contribute to functional and technical design, ensuring technical debt and long term investments are factored into the roadmap. What Youll Bring: Strong business acumen, including an understanding of Accounting concepts and ability to translate business requirements into technology solutions. Hands on experience in financial systems, with the ability to operate in both technical and analyst roles.

Demonstrated technical knowledge of Azure, ADF, Snowflake, and Cloud technologies. Strong background in SQL and/or Python. Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI preferred).

Proven ability to lead workshops and engage with executives effectively. Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills. Working knowledge of Agile, DevOps, CI/CD, and SDLC methodologies.

Must Have Skills: Demonstrated technical knowledge of Azure, ADF, Snowflake, and Cloud technologies. Strong background in SQL and/or Python. Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.

Experience & Education Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. 3+ years hands on technical experience (coding, solution engineering, or technical architecture). 5+ years experience in product management or systems analyst roles within agile software product development environments.
