Product Design Engineer

Brandintellé

MumbaiFull-timeMid LevelOn-site

Job Description

About Brandintelle Brandintelle is a B2B enterprise SaaS platform for marketing commercial operations. We help large enterprises plan, approve, execute, and measure their marketing spend — replacing spreadsheets and email chains with a single intelligent system. We're a product-led company where design quality directly drives how enterprise users adopt and love the platform.

The Role This is not a typical UI developer role, and it's not a typical product designer role. It's both. We're looking for a Product Design Engineer — someone who can take a product requirement, think through how it should work and look, and then build it directly into the product.

No handoff between a designer and a developer. No throwaway Figma prototypes. You'll iterate on real screens, in real code, with real data — using AI tools to move fast.

You will own our design system: the tokens, components, patterns, and libraries that the entire product is built on. You'll work directly with the product team to understand requirements and turn them into shipped, polished UI. If you're an engineer who cares deeply about how things look and feel — who has opinions on spacing, typography, hierarchy, and interaction — or a designer who learned to code because you were tired of seeing your designs implemented badly, this role is for you.

What You'll Do Work directly with the product team to understand requirements and translate them into UI design decisions — flows, layouts, hierarchy, interaction patterns Design directly in code: build, iterate, and refine screens in the product itself rather than producing static mockups for handoff Own and evolve Brandintelle's design system — component library, design tokens, patterns, and documentation Build new reusable components and continuously raise the visual and interaction quality bar across the product Use AI-assisted workflows (Claude, Cursor, Copilot, v0, etc.) to move from requirement to working UI fast Develop and maintain responsive, performant web application screens in Angular Handle the full quality spectrum: empty states, loading states, error states, edge cases, accessibility Participate in code reviews and uphold front-end best practices Must Have 2–3 years of experience building production web UI A portfolio of shipped work — live products, deployed projects, or detailed case studies (this is mandatory; applications without work samples will not be processed) Strong design fundamentals: typography, spacing, color, visual hierarchy, layout, and interaction design — and the ability to explain why behind your design decisions Mastery of HTML5 and CSS3 — not just framework components, but real CSS craft (layout systems, responsive design, animation) Strong JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript Hands-on experience with a modern front-end framework (Angular strongly preferred; strong React/Vue candidates willing to work in Angular will be considered) Experience with AI-assisted development — you should be able to show how AI tools fit into your design and build workflow Git/version control fundamentals Strong Advantage Angular 17+ experience Experience building or maintaining a design system or component library REST API integration experience Basic SQL knowledge (MS SQL / MySQL) Familiarity with enterprise/B2B product design patterns (data tables, dashboards, approval workflows, forms) Who Thrives Here You have taste — and you can defend it with reasoning, not just preference You'd rather ship a working screen today and refine it tomorrow than perfect a mockup for a week You're comfortable with ambiguity: a one-paragraph requirement is enough for you to start You see AI tools as leverage, not a threat, and you've already built them into how you work You want ownership — of the design system, of quality, of outcomes — not just tickets Why Join Brandintelle Rare role: full ownership of design and implementation in a growing B2B SaaS product Direct line to the product team and founders — your decisions ship to enterprise users AI-first development culture with modern tooling Career path into design systems leadership or product design as we scale
