About the Role The Procurement Manager for APAC will lead all procurement operations across the Asia-Pacific region for Teceze's Global Procurement Services (GPS) tower. This includes OEM hardware procurement, software licensing, vendor management, logistics coordination, and procurement process governance. The role is both strategic (supplier relationships, contract negotiation) and operational (order management, delivery tracking, cost control).
Key Responsibilities Lead APAC procurement operations โ hardware, software, OEM, logistics, and AMC Manage and develop the preferred supplier list for APAC โ performance management, contract negotiation, and ongoing relationship governance Achieve best-value purchasing โ price negotiation, volume commitments, rebate management Manage the end-to-end PO lifecycle โ requisition to delivery to payment verification Ensure procurement compliance โ Teceze procurement policy, financial controls, and approval thresholds Drive procurement cost efficiency โ identify and deliver measurable savings targets Manage OEM partner relationships (Dell, HP, Lenovo, Cisco, Apple, Microsoft) โ programme tiers, deal registration, and pricing Coordinate logistics and last-mile delivery for APAC client hardware orders Produce monthly procurement reports: spend analysis, savings achieved, supplier performance, pending orders Work with the GPS BU Head and Finance on procurement budget planning and forecasting Essential Requirements 10+ years of procurement experience in IT hardware, software, or technology supply chain Strong OEM and vendor management experience โ Dell, HP, Lenovo, Cisco, Microsoft partner programmes Proven cost negotiation track record โ specific savings achievements required at interview Contract management experience โ supplier agreements, SLAs, rebate structures Strong Excel and ERP/procurement platform proficiency (SAP Ariba, Coupa, or equivalent) Understanding of APAC logistics and import/export regulations relevant to IT equipment CIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply) qualification beneficial Preferred / Nice-to-Have Experience managing procurement across multiple APAC countries simultaneously OEM-side experience (sales or channel) at Dell, HP, or Lenovo IT reseller or distribution background How Success Will Be Measured (First 6 Months) Achieve โฅ5% cost reduction vs. baseline in first 6 months 100% PO accuracy โ zero order errors attributable to procurement in first 90 days Supplier performance score โฅ4/5 across top 5 APAC vendors All OEM partner programme tiers reviewed and optimised within 60 days
