You will work with data housed in a central repository to extract, transform, and load clean datasets into reporting and analytics environments — then turn those insights into actionable metrics used by field technicians, asset managers, and customers to understand and improve asset health. *Key Responsibilities* * Apply advanced statistical analysis and data mining techniques to proactively detect problems through anomaly detection and pattern recognition. * Maintain and continuously improve internal solar performance models used for lost energy calculations, soiling analytics, forecasting, and early failure detection. * Perform root cause analysis on underperforming solar facilities, including gathering, filtering, and cleaning noisy or incomplete datasets. * Translate findings into alarms, automated alerts, and reporting tags within the data environment to support field and operations teams. * Design and implement a scalable data management and retention strategy aligned with asset life cycles. xywuqvp * Build and maintain scalable reporting services for internal stakeholders and external customers. *Experience* *Required* * 2+ years in applied computer science or engineering (research experience considered) * Proficiency in Python or R * Hands-on experience with Power BI * Foundational understanding of engineering principles * Experience in software development and code base maintenance within small team environments *Preferred* * 2+ years of experience in machine learning and data mining * Familiarity with OSIsoft PI systems * SQL proficiency *Education* * Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or Physics * Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or Physics is a strong plus *Core Competencies* * Ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams while maintaining quality and schedule * Self-directed problem solver who can work both independently and collaboratively * Clear and accurate communicator — in writing, documentation, and verbally * Creative thinker capable of developing novel solutions for problems without a well-defined path forward Job Type: Full-time Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year Benefits: * 401(k) * 401(k) matching * Dental insurance * Flexible schedule * Health insurance * Life insurance * Paid time off * Referral program * Vision insurance Work Location: In person
