Job Description
Role: Pay & Reward Analyst Contract Length: 1 month (from start date) Location: Remote IR35 Status: In scope Day Rate: ยฃ500 โ ยฃ549 per day (Umbrella) Overview: We are looking for an experienced Pay & Reward Analyst to support a confidential public sector organisation on a short-term assignment. This role will provide additional capacity during a busy period and focus on benchmarking and job evaluation activity across specialist roles. A key aspect of the role will be delivering a targeted benchmarking exercise to inform Recruitment and Retention Allowances (RRAs).
Key Responsibilities: Undertake benchmarking activity using agreed job descriptions and established tools Conduct job evaluation and market analysis across finance and property roles Support decision-making on Recruitment and Retention Allowances (RRAs) Engage with stakeholders and line managers to understand role requirements Document methodology, approach, and findings clearly Present benchmarking outcomes and insights to stakeholders Provide independent, evidence-based recommendations on pay Support updates to internal benchmarking frameworks and documentation Essential Skills & Experience: Proven experience in job evaluation and pay benchmarking Understanding of specialist finance and property roles Strong analytical, research, and numeracy skills Confident decision-making and ability to work autonomously Excellent communication skills Desirable: Experience within the public sector or civil service pay and reward
