Job Description Schedule: Monday to Friday; 8 AM - 4:30 PM As a Physical Therapist, you will provide essential care to patients in their homes, focusing on improving mobility, alleviating pain, and enhancing overall physical well-being through evidence-based practices. Key Responsibilities: Perform thorough physical examinations of patients. Evaluate movement patterns, strength levels, and range of motion.
Diagnose physical impairments and develop tailored treatment plans. Design and implement therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and use modalities like ultrasound and electrical stimulation. Educate patients about self-care, home exercise programs, and strategies for injury prevention.
Collaborate closely with healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists. Monitor patient progress, make necessary adjustments to treatment plans, and determine discharge readiness. Provide education on health conditions, treatment options, and lifestyle changes.
Qualifications: Master's or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution. Licensed to practice as per the National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE). Meets state-specific licensure requirements.
Requirements: Minimum of 1 year of experience as a PT in home health. Familiarity with HCHB charting methodology. Benefits: Health insurance is available upon the start of your assignment.
