Job Description The Oracle Fusion PLM Technical Lead is a hands‑on technical expert responsible for designing, building, and implementing Oracle Fusion PLM solutions across the enterprise. This role serves as the primary PLM subject‑matter expert, owning solution architecture, configuration, custom development, and integrations while leading end‑to‑end implementations, including deployments for newly acquired companies. The individual partners closely with IT, Engineering, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable, compliant solutions aligned to business objectives, while also driving adoption of AI‑enabled capabilities within PLM to improve data quality, automation, and decision‑making.

Worker Type Regular Position Responsibilities Lead solution design, configuration, and extension development across Oracle Fusion PLM (Product Development, PDH, Change Management). Develop and maintain custom extensions using Groovy, REST APIs, Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), and related tools. Own complex configurations, integrations, and performance optimization of PLM solutions.

Lead full lifecycle implementations: fit‑gap, design, build, test (SIT/UAT), training, and production cutover. Drive data conversion activities including mapping, cleansing, migration, and validation. Act as PLM track lead, managing scope, risks, timelines, reporting, and deliverables.

Scope and implement integrations between PLM and enterprise systems (ERP, CAD/PDM, MES). Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture, security, and data governance standards. Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.

Mentor team members and establish development standards and best practices. Troubleshoot complex technical/functional issues and support enhancements and upgrades. Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field. 15+ years of enterprise applications PLM experience with strong Oracle Fusion PLM expertise.

Proven experience operating at a System Integrator (SI) / implementation partner level. Hands‑on experience with Oracle Fusion PLM configuration, customization, and solution design. Experience with custom development (Groovy, REST APIs, OIC, BPM, extensions).

Demonstrated success leading full lifecycle PLM implementations (including multi‑org or acquisitions). Experience integrating PLM with CAD/PDM systems (e.g., SolidWorks, Windchill). Experience with fit‑gap analysis, data migration, SIT/UAT, and cutover execution.

Strong problem‑solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Other Qualifications & Desired Competencies Experience in aerospace, engineering, or manufacturing environments preferred. Experience working within Oracle Government Cloud (OCI Gov) environments preferred.

Familiarity with Oracle Redwood UX. Oracle Fusion PLM or related certifications. PMP or equivalent certification preferred.

Experience applying AI/ML within enterprise systems (e.g., data enrichment, automation, predictive insights). Familiarity with Oracle AI services or integrating AI tools into business workflows. Demonstrated ability to identify and implement AI‑driven improvements in PLM processes.

Proven ability to lead AI adoption within enterprise systems from concept through production deployment. Strong understanding of PLM and engineering processes. Ability to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.

Effective collaboration across technical and business teams. Strong communication and ability to influence stakeholders. High ownership, adaptability, and ability to operate in fast‑paced environments.

Physical Demands Ability to work in an office environment (Constant) Required to sit and stand for long periods; talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone keyboard (Frequent) Special Requirements U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (Green Card holder), or asylee/refugee status as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3) required.

Will be required to travel mostly within the Continental U.S. U.S. Citizenship required.

Clearance Level No Clearance Salary Range $133,500 - $189,525 ITAR Requirement This position requires access to information that is subject to compliance with the International Traffic Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR). Applicants must qualify as a U.S. person under ITAR and the EAR or be eligible for an export license. This requires U.S. citizenship, lawful permanent residency, or protected status such as refugee or asylee.
