About the Company Veltech Consultancy Services is a growing IT consulting firm specializing in Oracle Fusion, cloud, and enterprise digital transformation services. The company delivers high-quality managed services and implementation solutions to global clients, particularly across the UAE and GCC region. We are hiring an experienced Oracle Fusion Finance Functional Consultant to support the day-to-day operations. This role involves working on enterprise-scale Oracle Fusion Cloud implementations and managed services, delivering high-quality financial solutions across multiple business units. About the Role A senior functional consultant responsible for end-to-end delivery, configuration, and support of Oracle Fusion Finance modules. The role requires strong functional expertise, stakeholder engagement, and the ability to drive finance transformation initiatives remotely. General Ledger (GL) โ€“ Functional Responsibilities Design and configure Chart of Accounts (COA) , ledgers, and legal entity structures Manage Accounting Calendar, Currency, and Ledger configurations Configure and maintain Subledger Accounting (SLA) rules and account derivations Handle Journal processing , approvals, and posting controls Perform period-end and year-end close activities , including revaluation and translation Configure Allocations, Intercompany Accounting, and Consolidation processes Support financial reporting using OTBI, Smart View, and Financial Reporting Studio Ensure compliance with IFRS / local statutory requirements Accounts Payable (AP) โ€“ Functional Responsibilities Configure supplier onboarding, supplier sites, and payment terms Manage Invoice processing (2-way / 3-way matching) and validation rules Configure and support payment processes : Payment batches Payment methods (EFT, cheque, wire) Payment formats (XML/ISO โ€“ PAIN.001, MT101 where applicable) Handle expense reports and employee reimbursements Support withholding tax, VAT, and compliance configurations Perform invoice accounting, accruals, and reconciliation Manage AP period close and aging analysis Resolve invoice holds, payment failures, and audit queries Accounts Receivable (AR) โ€“ Functional Responsibilities Configure customer master, customer accounts, and credit profiles Manage invoice generation (manual, recurring, and auto-invoicing) Configure and support receipt processing : Lockbox Manual receipts Auto-reconciliation Handle cash application and remittance processing Manage credit management, collections, and dunning processes Configure revenue recognition rules and support compliance (IFRS 15) Perform AR aging, reconciliation, and period close activities Support dispute management and customer account reconciliation Responsibilities Implementation & Delivery Lead and support 2โ€“4 full lifecycle Oracle Fusion implementations or major rollouts Drive CRP, SIT, UAT cycles, and ensure successful go-live and hyper care Manage finance transformation initiatives aligned with business objectives Functional Expertise Configure and support core finance modules: General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Cash Management (CM), Tax & Subledger Accounting (SLA) Handle period close, reconciliations, and financial reporting processes Business Analysis & Solution Design Conduct requirement gathering and translate business needs into Oracle solutions Prepare functional documents such as: MD.050 (Functional Design Documents), CV.040 (Configuration Workbooks) Provide solutions for complex accounting and compliance requirements Data Migration & Reporting Perform data migration using: FBDI / ADFDI templates Develop and support reports using: OTBI / BI Publisher Stakeholder Management Act as a bridge between business users and technical teams Provide functional guidance and user training Support audit, compliance, and governance activities Qualifications 6+ years of Oracle Fusion ERP Finance Module Strong hands-on experience in GL, AP, AR, and CM modules Proven experience in end-to-end implementations Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial processes Experience in data migration, reconciliation, and reporting Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Strong Understanding of GAP, IFRS Preferred Skills CA / ICWA / MBA (Finance) Oracle Fusion Financials Certification (Highly Preferred) ITIL or project delivery exposure is an added advantage Pay range and compensation package Competitive salary aligned with Indian market benchmarks.
