About the Company We are seeking an Operations Manager to take ownership of day-to-day execution across a growing landscaping business in the Atlanta market. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for aligning crews, schedules, and resources to deliver consistent, high-quality work. About the Role This is not a desk role.
You’ll be in the field, solving problems in real time, driving accountability, and ensuring jobs are completed on time and to standard. The business has strong demand—what’s needed now is operational discipline, structure, and leadership. Responsibilities Operational Execution Own daily operations across crews, scheduling, and job execution Ensure all jobs are completed on time, within scope, and to quality standards Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies, and implement practical solutions Coordinate labor, equipment, and materials to maximize productivity Scheduling & Resource Management Build and manage daily/weekly schedules across multiple crews Ensure proper crew allocation based on job requirements and timelines Manage equipment usage, maintenance needs, and downtime Team Leadership & Accountability Lead, coach, and hold crew leaders accountable for performance Set clear expectations for output, quality, and behavior Address performance issues directly and drive improvement Reinforce a culture of ownership, urgency, and consistency Customer & Job Oversight Act as point of escalation for job-related issues or customer concerns Conduct site visits to ensure quality control and customer satisfaction Ensure clear communication between office, crews, and clients Performance & Continuous Improvement Track key metrics including job completion rates, productivity, and rework Drive improvements in efficiency, quality, and crew performance Implement basic systems and processes to improve visibility and control Qualificationsa 5+ years in leadership or management roles with direct responsibility for teams and outcomes Proven ability to drive accountability and performance in fast-paced environments Landscaping or industry experience not required Military leadership experience strongly preferred Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills Comfortable leading from the front in a hands-on, field-driven role Clear communicator with the ability to align teams and drive execution Pay range and compensation package $90,000 base salary Performance-based bonus tied to operational metrics Opportunity to grow into a senior leadership role as the company scales Equal Opportunity Statement If you’ve led teams, enforced standards, and driven results—industry can be taught.
