Role Outline Health Partners has an exciting opportunity for a confident and driven Occupational Health Nurse to join our collaborative, multidisciplinary team at our client’s site in Samlesbury, Lancashire. The Occupational Health Nurse provides a compassionate, professional clinical service that is instrumental in the quality of care our clients’ employees receive.

This role requires conducting health surveillance, travel health assessments, vaccinations, case management, delivering health and wellbeing initiatives, and liaising with external organisations and other healthcare professionals. What You’ll Be Doing Providing health surveillance and managing escalations via the Occupational Health Technicians. Providing professional advice, support and guidance.

Assessing new employees presenting to Occupational Health. Assessing individuals’ fitness to work for the appropriate job role. Providing clinical assessment of clients presenting with minor illness and injury.

Attending emergency call outs. Completing travel health assessments and administering travel vaccinations. Supporting the Senior OH Advisor to advise, monitor and assess the clinical practice of the OH team.

Ensuring clinical assessment skills are maintained in line with best practice. What We Are Looking For We are seeking an Occupational Health Nurse with a range of skills, experience, and professional qualifications. Prior experience working as a practice nurse or in a similar OH focused role with a strong understanding of case management and health surveillance is essential.

Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks in a busy environment are required, as are good IT skills, including proficiency in database systems, Outlook, Word and Excel. A team‑orientated approach, a curiosity to learn and develop, and a commitment to achieving results are key attributes we value. Hours This is a full‑time role, working 5 days a week, Monday to Friday.

Some flexibility can be offered, with working hours between 7.30 am and 5.30 pm, 7.5 hours per day. Location On‑site role based at our client site in Samlesbury. Salary Competitive salary dependent on experience and qualifications, with professional registration (NMC) fees also paid annually.
