Nurse Endoscopist

Are you an experienced Nurse Endoscopist looking for flexible weekend work in the London area? We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Nurse Endoscopist to support NHS services across the region on weekends. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with a strong background in endoscopy to earn extra income while maintaining flexibility.

Clinical Duties • Perform diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures (e.g., gastroscopy, colonoscopy, bronchoscopy, ERCP, EUS, cystoscopy depending on specialty). • Assess patient indications, risks, and contraindications prior to procedures. • Obtain informed consent and provide pre- and post-procedure counseling. • Interpret endoscopic findings and integrate them into patient management plans. • Perform endoscopic interventions such as biopsy, polypectomy, hemostasis, dilation, stent placement, or foreign body removal. • Manage complications and respond promptly to emergencies. Patient Care • Provide high-quality, patient-centered care throughout the diagnostic and treatment process. • Maintain accurate and comprehensive medical records, including procedure reports and follow-up instructions. • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care. What Were Looking For: • Minimum of 2 years' experience • Previous experience within the NHS is essential • Strong understanding of endoscopy procedures and equipment • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Reliable and committed to delivering safe, effective care Please contact Olivia Turner on
