The Role: Lead and carry out advanced thermal-hydraulic and neutronics analyses Review, validate, and formally approve engineering calculations and safety assessments completed by colleagues and junior engineers Conduct thorough technical reviews of design basis documentation, licensing submissions, and supporting evaluations Support and mentor junior engineers, strengthening their analytical skills and modeling capabilities Build, refine, and maintain detailed analytical models for reactor systems, including normal operation and accident conditions The Candidate: Strong background in nuclear systems analysis, safety analysis, or reactor physics Proficiency with at least two of the following codes: TRACE, MELCOR, MCNP, VERA, SCALE, SERPENT Experience performing and reviewing complex engineering calculations Department of Energy regulatory experience is preferred Reference Number: BBBH269840 #J-18808-Ljbffr
