The Opportunity Our client is seeking a high‑impact National Sales Manager to help accelerate retail growth across North America. Reporting directly to the Head of Growth, this individual will play a critical role in managing key retail partnerships, driving account expansion, and supporting the company’s next stage of growth. This is an opportunity to join an entrepreneurial organization at a pivotal stage, helping build retail distribution and market share for a fast‑growing consumer brand.
Key Responsibilities Manage and grow strategic national retail accounts. Develop and execute account plans to drive sales, profitability, and distribution. Lead day‑to‑day retail account management, forecasting, promotions, and order execution.
Build relationships with buyers and merchandising teams across key retail partners. Collaborate closely with the Head of Growth on sales strategy and expansion initiatives. Partner cross‑functionally with marketing, operations, supply chain, and product teams to ensure flawless execution.
Analyze sales performance and identify opportunities for growth within existing and new accounts. Support new retail channel development and customer acquisition initiatives. Ideal Experience 5+ years of sales, business development, or account management experience within consumer products.
At least 2 years of recent experience with a small kitchen appliance, kitchen electrics, cookware, or housewares brand. Proven success managing major retail accounts and driving revenue growth. Experience working with retailers such as: Costco Williams Sonoma Crate & Barrel Other premium home, kitchen, or specialty retailers Strong understanding of retail forecasting, inventory management, and promotional planning.
