Team members join a business that values long-term relationships, safety, and continuous improvement. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Engineer role based in Leicestershire (Hinckley).

The Engineer will support the design, installation, maintenance, and optimization of refrigeration filling systems, ensuring they meet performance, safety, and environmental standards. Typical responsibilities include conducting technical assessments, troubleshooting equipment issues, and recommending solutions that improve efficiency and reduce environmental impact. The role involves coordinating with internal teams and external partners, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and company procedures.

The Engineer will also contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, support testing and commissioning activities. Qualifications Strong foundation in engineering principles, ideally in electrical/mechanical, refrigeration, HVAC, or a closely related discipline. Hands‑on experience, including installation, maintenance, fault‑finding, and performance optimisation.

Proficiency in technical documentation, reporting, and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and specifications. Effective problem‑solving, analytical, and diagnostic skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage time in a busy on‑site environment. Clear, professional communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams, customers, and suppliers.

Commitment to health, safety, and environmental best practices in all engineering activities. Relevant engineering qualification (e.g., degree, HNC/HND, or equivalent) in electrical enineering or related field; professional certifications or memberships are an advantage. Previous experience in the refrigeration or HVAC industry, particularly in a commercial or industrial setting, is desirable not essential. #J-18808-Ljbffr
