Job Description

$2500 Sign On Bonus - MRI Technologist As an MRI Technologist, you are responsible for patient safety and the performance of high‑quality MR studies onsite and/or remotely. You will ensure effective communication with radiologists, team members, patients, and customers, including those who work in the mobile environment. When required, you will train and orient new technologists, patient coordinators, and MR technologist assistants.

Responsibilities Ensure patient safety, including pre‑screening for contraindications and aseptic injection technique. Produce high‑quality diagnostic images using multiple MR systems as required. Use all communication channels to address concerns, solve problems, and resolve conflict.

Effectively communicate with customers and/or radiologists. Train and orient new technologists, patient coordinators, and MR technologist assistants onsite and/or remotely. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent experience. ARRT (R), ARRT (MR), or ARMRIT certification; if not, ARRT is acceptable by contract. State license, if applicable.

CPR certification. Valid state driver’s license, as applicable. 3 months supervised MRI clinical scanning experience or enrollment in an accredited MRI training program for more than 6 months. No experience required to become an RT(MR) or ARMRIT, though experience is a plus.

Ability to work at several locations. Strong customer service, organizational and multitasking skills. Basic knowledge of computer applications.

COVID‑19 vaccination is or may be a condition of employment. Local travel may be required. Preferred: Associate’s degree or equivalent experience.

Registry in Magnetic Resonance by the ARRT. 1 year of Magnetic Resonance Imaging experience. Physical Requirements Exposure to outside weather conditions during transport of patients if working on a mobile unit. Exposure to a strong magnetic field.

Exposure to blood/body fluids and potential infectious and communicable diseases. More than 50% of the time: sit, stand, walk, repetitive movement of hands, arms, and legs; see, speak, and hear to communicate with patients. Less than 50% of the time: stoop, kneel, crawl, climb, balance; carry and lift (ability to move non‑ambulatory patients).
