Overview Ref: 116859 Microbiology Manager Exciting time to join a company expanding its presence in Glasgow. This is a critical leadership role responsible for shaping the strategic direction, scientific integrity, and operational performance of the Microbiology function. Role Responsibilities Responsibilities will include: Providing strategic oversight and long‑term vision for the Microbiology function – line management of 6 analysts Leading and influencing cross‑functional initiatives that enhance laboratory capability, efficiency, and readiness for future growth Establishing high GMP/DP/SOP standards of accountability Holding overall accountability for GMP compliance within the Microbiology laboratory, Providing governance over departmental SOPs, protocols, investigations, deviations, CAPA, and reports Operational Excellence & Workload Management Business Partnership & Client Engagement Risk Management, Issue Resolution & Continuous Improvement This is a unique opportunity for an experienced microbiology leader to make a lasting impact within a collaborative, forward-thinking organisation committed to quality, innovation, and improving global health.
