Job Description

Job Description Job Description Shape complex HVAC builds in San Antonio, TX Picture your Monday: a quick kickoff with field crews, a client touch-base to align on milestones, then out to a job site to verify install progress and safety practices. After lunch, you refine a proposal with cost breakdowns and a phased schedule, review a change order with a subcontractor, and wrap the day by finalizing a progress report and coaching a junior engineer through a technical challenge. If that rhythm excites you, this role is for you.

What you'll deliver End-to-end leadership of commercial HVAC projects—from scope and planning through turnover—hitting schedule and budget targets. Clear coordination with owners, GCs, subs, and internal teams to define goals, milestones, and deliverables. Regular site presence to monitor installation quality, troubleshoot field issues, and keep work moving safely.

Well-scoped proposals and presentations, including cost estimates and timeline commitments. Uncompromising adherence to safety protocols and relevant industry codes/standards. Accurate, organized documentation: contracts, change orders, RFIs, and periodic progress reports.

Hands-on technical guidance to project teams throughout design, install, and commissioning. Strong, trust-based client relationships that encourage repeat work. What you bring Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline preferred. 3+ years managing commercial HVAC projects with proven schedule and cost control.

Deep understanding of HVAC systems, installation methodologies, and maintenance practices. Fluency with project management software and common planning tools. Outstanding communication and collaboration skills across field and office.

Ability to juggle multiple active jobs while meeting deadlines and quality targets. Sharp problem-solving instincts and meticulous attention to detail. Valid driver’s license and readiness to travel to San Antonio-area job sites as required.
