Job Description
As a Material Management Analyst II here at Honeywell, you will play a key role in supporting and optimizing the supply chain processes to ensure efficient material flow and inventory management. You will analyze material requirements, coordinate with cross‑functional teams, and help maintain accurate inventory levels to meet customer demand and business objectives. In this role, you will impact the overall supply chain effectiveness by improving material availability, reducing inventory costs, and supporting production schedules to enhance customer satisfaction and operational performance.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Analyze and manage material inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability and minimize excess inventory. Collaborate with procurement, production, and logistics teams to coordinate material requirements and delivery schedules. Support continuous improvement initiatives in material management processes and systems to enhance supply chain efficiency.
YOU MUST HAVE Experience in supply chain or material management within a manufacturing or industrial environment. Strong knowledge of inventory control principles and material requirements planning (MRP) systems. Proficiency in using ERP systems such as SAP or PeopleSoft for material tracking and reporting.
Ability to analyze data to identify trends, forecast material needs, and support decision‑making processes. WE VALUE Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field. 3+ years of experience in material management, inventory control, or supply chain roles. Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma or continuous improvement methodologies.
Experience collaborating with cross‑functional teams to drive process improvements. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail. Honeywell is an equal opportunity employer.
