If so, Hard Manufacturing Co is looking for a talented Manufacturing Engineering to join our team in Buffalo, NY 14215. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our industry-leading reputation of developing and delivering high quality products to our customers while continuing to improve our methods and tools to be the most cost effective. Daily Responsibilities: Move easily between different types of engineering work including product design and legacy maintenance, using Solidworks (sheet metal), mechanical fabrication, production problem solving, and documentation.
Function as a key member of a focused team of hands-on engineers that work closely with management and manufacturing operations staff. Lead new product design and development, from prototype through commercialization, working cross functionally with quality, production, sales and marketing teams to ensure all aspects of solution are considered. Serve as the company’s engineering lead for certain designated areas, providing technical expertise to sales, production and the management team.
Support manufacturing processes by maintaining engineering drawings, Bills of Materials (BOM), and fixtures/tooling required for products we offer. Work with outside testing labs, as needed, for any required medical device safety and quality testing Effectively communicate at all levels of the organization – management team as well as production workforce Required Skills: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related Engineering Tech disciplines Ideally 7 or more years of engineering or related experience Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design, ideally SolidWorks (with sheet metal) & Excel Exceptional problem-solving skills Self-starter with good written and verbal communication skills Design for Manufacturability Nice to Have Skills: Experience with medical device manufacturing/FDA-regulated industry Interest in mentoring others and learning new skills Salary and Benefits: Minimum Salary: $82,000.00 Maximum Salary: $105,000.00 Health Insurance, Dental Insurance, Vision Insurance 401(k) and Health Savings Accounts (HSAs) Vacation Leave, Sick Leave, Holiday Pay, Paid Time Off Company Information: Hard Manufacturing Co designs and manufactures high-quality hospital cribs and youth beds for healthcare facilities and home care, prioritizing children's safety, comfort, and durability.
