Manufacturing Automation Specialist Job Overview We are looking for an experienced Manufacturing Automation Specialist to serve as a key technical resource supporting automated manufacturing operations within a highly automated production environment. Responsibilities Diagnose and troubleshoot automated production equipment Investigate root causes of equipment failures and performance issues Read, understand, and support PLC programs to restore production quickly Provide technical support for Allen Bradley and Rockwell automation platforms Collaborate closely with maintenance, production, quality, and engineering teams Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on equipment reliability and efficiency Assist with robotic systems and automated production technologies Support industrial networks and automation infrastructures Contribute to modernization and capital improvement projects Assist with validation, qualification, and technical documentation activities when required Support the implementation of new technologies and automation solutions Qualifications College diploma (DEC), AEC or equivalent technical training in Automation, Industrial Electronics, Instrumentation & Control, Electrical Technology or a related field Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial or manufacturing automation Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills in production environments Hands‑on experience with Allen Bradley PLC platforms Experience with Studio 5000, RSLogix and FactoryTalk Good understanding of industrial networking and communication protocols Familiarity with Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet/IP, EtherCAT or similar technologies Experience with industrial robotics (Fanuc, Mitsubishi or equivalent) is considered an asset Knowledge of instrumentation, sensors and process control systems SQL database knowledge is an asset Electrical License C, or active progression toward obtaining it, is highly valued Strong analytical thinking and problem‑solving abilities Team‑oriented attitude and willingness to continue growing technically Working Conditions Full‑time permanent position Day shift schedule Competitive compensation package Comprehensive perks program Modern, highly automated manufacturing environment Exposure to advanced automation technologies Support for professional development and technical growth Opportunity to work alongside experienced automation specialists Long‑term career progression opportunities Interested candidates who enjoy solving complex technical challenges, working with advanced automation systems, and building a long‑term career in manufacturing technology are encouraged to apply. #J-18808-Ljbffr
