Overview Job Category: Sales Salesforce is seeking a 1st line Sales Leader to lead a team of Business Development Representatives or Account Executives selling the Salesforce Customer Success Platform across multiple verticals. The role requires leadership, initiative, and the ability to drive team performance and sales for our enterprise team. The Sales Leader is responsible for developing and leading the team to generate revenue and achieve quotas, aligning to the sales strategy and implementing plans for assigned accounts.
Role Description Lead a team of BDRs or Account Executives selling across multiple verticals. Formulate and implement a strategy to increase business growth. Work in partnership with Sales, Marketing, Pre-sales, Partner Alliances, Services & HR; cross-company engagement and orchestration are crucial.
The candidate will drive outstanding business results and employee development. You may be aligned to the following verticals and/or clouds: Enterprise Corporate Services Financial Services Healthcare & Life Sciences Retail & Consumer Goods Comms, Media and Tech Public Sector Marketing Cloud Slack Mulesoft Tableau Marketing Cloud Specialization Cloud Your Impact The teams you lead at Salesforce will directly impact the growth of the organization. You will be skilled in client engagement and influence how customers do business in a changing environment.

Hire, train, and develop a team Develop teams into sales-ready candidates for future Account Executive positions Create industry-specific pipeline programs to drive pipeline and revenue Motivate individuals and the team to exceed objectives through coaching, transparent results, and incentives Regularly report on team/individual results โ pipeline generation, pipeline quality, revenue forecasting Collaborate with Marketing on campaign follow-up and reporting Coordinate with Executive Leadership and Sales Leaders to ensure pipeline quality/quantity and proper follow-up Work with Operations to recommend process improvements Identify and propose improvements in process, efficiency, and productivity Your Qualifications Experience requirements vary by segment, typically 3+ years of sales leadership experience developing a team of seven or more quota-carrying sales people. A bachelorโs degree is strongly preferred.
