Manager, Patient and Clinician Engagement 154 University Ave, Toronto, ON M5H 3Y9, Canada Job Description Status: Full-time, indefinite Salary range: $119,430 to $145,970 per year CDA-AMC is an independent, not‑for‑profit organization that drives better coordination and public value within Canada’s drug, health technology, and health systems landscape. The organization has offices in Ottawa and Toronto and collaborates with national and international partners to enhance health system evidence and decision‑making. Hybrid Work Arrangement This position follows a hybrid work schedule with a minimum of 2 days onsite, although the requirement may vary based on business and operational needs.

Primary Focus The Manager, Patient and Clinician Engagement leads a team responsible for advising, coordinating, documenting, and reporting on partner engagement with clinicians, patients, caregivers, community members, and associations. The Manager ensures these partners are informed and involved in the organization’s work and that their input is incorporated into evidence products, services, and recommendations. Daily Responsibilities Provide leadership, subject‑matter expertise, and clear expectations to team members, ensuring quality and timely execution of deliverables.

Champion the development and implementation of work and project plans, processes, tools, communication, activities, and events to embed partner involvement in evidence products and services, leading the team’s contributions to: the ongoing development, recruitment and support of an organizational patient partner community and network outreach and relationship‑building with patient groups, clinicians, and associations coordination of cross‑functional internal collaboration to advance engagement initiatives Lead, inspire and challenge team members to maximize potential, develop key skill sets and advance leadership behaviours. Foster an internal culture of purpose‑focused planning and engagement, including multigroup and multiperspective dialogue. Monitor and assess effectiveness of engagement activities, ensuring inclusion, diversity, equity and accessibility.

Track national and international developments related to patient and clinician engagement, communicating changes, challenges and opportunities. Engage and network with international health technology assessment entities for good practice insights. Participate in the annual business planning process and core operational planning, reporting progress, managing workload, budget and data‑analytics requirements.

Qualifications Post‑secondary education in a relevant field (Health or Social Service Administration, Health Policy, Public Administration) and progressive health system experience; equivalent combinations considered. Direct professional engagement experience in patient and/or clinician organizations. Strategic mindset with strong people‑leadership and mentorship skills.

Knowledge of partner engagement principles and good practices, and experience engaging health‑system partners with lived and living experience. Exceptional partner‑relationship management experience. Ability to lead and influence with and without authority.

Engaging presentation and strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage concurrent initiatives and prioritize work effectively. Proactive, can‑do, innovative approach.
