JOB DESCRIPTION Marketplace Manager β Amazon India | Flipkart | Quick Commerce Role Title :Marketplace Manager Department :E-Commerce / Growth Experience :1β3 Years Primary Platforms Employment Type : Full-Time Amazon India, Flipkart, Blinkit, Zepto, Swiggy Instamart About the Role We are looking for a driven and data-savvy Marketplace Manager to own and grow our presence across India's leading e-commerce and quick commerce platforms. You will be the end-to-end owner of our Amazon India, Flipkart, and Quick Commerce (Blinkit, Zepto, Swiggy Instamart) channels β responsible for sales performance, listing hygiene, advertising, promotions, and operational excellence. This is a high-impact, cross-functional role sitting at the intersection of growth, operations, and category management.
The ideal candidate brings deep platform expertise, a strong analytical mindset, and a bias for execution . Key Responsibilities Amazon India β’ Own end-to-end account management, storefront, A+ content, Brand Store, and SEO-optimized listings β’ Drive Sales rank improvement through keyword strategy, pricing, and content optimization β’ Manage Amazon Advertising (Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, DSP) with a focus on ACoS/RoAS targets β’ Handle FBA/FBF inventory planning, reorder triggers, and FC-level stock health β’ Strategize and execute during peak events: Prime Day, Great Indian Festival, Diwali Sale β’ Monitor and maintain account health, IPI score, return rates, suppressed listings, and compliance β’ Lead Amazon Launchpad, Deals, Coupons, and Subscribe & Save programs where applicab le Flipk art β’ Manage Flipkart Seller Hub operations including catalog, pricing, and fulfillment configuration β’ Execute advertising on Flipkart Ads Platform, search ads, product listing ads, and brand solutions β’ Lead participation in Big Billion Days, End of Season Sale, and Brand Days with dedicated promotional planning β’ Optimize product content for Flipkart's search algorithm and Smart ROI ad framework β’ Coordinate with Flipkart account managers for category-level visibility and featured placements β’ Ensure SLA compliance for Flipkart Assured and Flipkart Plus progr ams Quick Commerce (Blinkit, Zepto, Swiggy Instam art) β’ Manage onboarding, catalog setup, and listing optimization across all active quick commerce platforms β’ Drive NMV (Net Merchandise Value) growth through visibility levers β banners, search rank, and hero SKU prioritization β’ Own dark store inventory allocation and work with supply chain to prevent stockouts in high-velocity slots β’ Coordinate with platform POCs for sponsored ads, brand campaigns, and in-app visibility β’ Analyze platform-specific metrics: fill rate, on-time fulfillment, product-level returns, and consumer ratings β’ Identify and unlock new city/cluster expansion opportunities based on demand sig nals Cross-Platform & Strategic Owne rship β’ Consolidate P&L view across all marketplace channels and report weekly/monthly to leadership β’ Conduct competitive benchmarking β pricing, share of search, share of voice β and propose counterstrategies ' Collaborate with the Brand, Product, and Supply Chain teams on launches, phase-outs, and campaign alignment β’ Drive annual GMV targets, category growth plans, and new product introduction strategies β’ Evaluate and onboard new marketplace opportunities as the ecosystem ev olves Key Metrics & Own ership GMV / Net Revenue : All platformsACoS / RoAS : Amazon, Flipkart Sales Rank & Visibility : AmazonIndia NMV & Fill Rate : Blinkit, Zepto, Swiggy Instamart Inventory Health / IPI : Amazon FBA Return Rate : All platforms Category Share of Voice : Amazon, Flipkart Platform Operational SLA : Flipkart Assured, Q-Co mmerce Qualifications & Experience Mu st -Haveβ’ 1β3 years of hands-on e-commerce marketplace experience, with at least 2 years on Amazon India and Flipkart β’ Demonstrated experience managing Quick Commerce platforms - Blinkit, Zepto, or Swiggy Instamart β’ Proficiency in Amazon Seller Central & Vendor Central, and Flipkart Seller Hub β’ Strong command of Amazon Advertising Console and Flipkart Ads Platform (FAP) β’ Experience with inventory planning tools, reorder logic, and FBA health metrics β’ Data-driven approach with proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets; experience with tools like Helium 10,Adbrew β’ Proven track record of hitting GMV, revenue, or market share targets on major pl atforms Good to Have β’ Experience with Vendor Central (1P relationship with Amazon) in addition to Seller Central (3P) β’ Exposure to Meesho, JioMart β’ Understanding of D2C brand operations and how marketplace strategy complements DTC channels β’ Basic knowledge of SQL or BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker) for self-serve data analysis Seniority Level Mid-Senior levelIndustry
