Manager, Digital Ordering - Strategy & Operations
DoorDash
Job Description
About The Team DoorDash Digital Ordering is DoorDash’s first software-as-a-service business unit – offering a suite of services across online ordering, branded mobile apps, loyalty solutions, and more that enable merchants (restaurants, grocers, retailers, etc.) to reach customers through their own first‑party channels. About The Role As a Manager on the Digital Ordering Strategy & Operations team, you will play a critical role in building a world‑class SaaS business. You will be responsible for defining and leading key go‑to‑market bets and initiatives to scale our business nationwide.
Responsibilities Lead high‑visibility, cross‑functional workstreams that address Digital Ordering’s most unique and challenging questions. Build strategies, workstreams, and playbooks across our most important go‑to‑market priorities, working closely with senior stakeholders across GTM, product, marketing, and beyond. Sell by designing and influencing the GTM sales motion at each stage of the sales funnel to communicate our value proposition to merchant partners.
Operate at the lowest level of detail, deeply understanding how our go‑to‑market engine operates and using that knowledge to scale. Analyze complex data sets paired with qualitative feedback to provide insights and recommendations to grow the business. Qualifications Strong problem‑solving skills, with a tendency to rethink problems from first principles.
A builder mindset, having adopted AI tools beyond ChatGPT to meaningfully improve how you work. Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams, empathize with diverse perspectives, chart the right path, and influence senior teammates who don’t report to you. High analytical aptitude, comfortable extracting signal from noise and pulling insights from data and sales calls.
Balanced comfort operating at both 10,000‑foot and 1‑foot levels of detail, without hesitation to dive into the weeds or inspire the team at the strategic level. 6+ years of relevant experience in high‑performance cultures (tech, operations, strategy, consulting, banking, or similar). High‑growth SaaS experience is a plus but not required.
