Maintenance Engineer

Maintenance Technician This is a permanent opportunity paying a competitive salary. I am currently recruiting for a Maintenance Technician to join a busy operational site based in Prescot. The role This position will involve supporting the day‑to‑day running of the site through a combination of planned maintenance activities and reactive repairs, ensuring equipment and facilities are maintained to a high standard.

Responsibilities Carry out preventative maintenance across site equipment and infrastructure Respond to maintenance issues and breakdowns as they arise Assist with the installation, upgrade and replacement of equipment and systems Support general site upkeep including basic plumbing, joinery and repair work Help with the movement and setup of equipment within operational and office areas Maintain accurate records and maintenance logs in line with quality procedures Contribute to site improvements, refurbishments and ongoing projects Ensure all tasks are completed in accordance with health & safety standards Provide general support across the site as required About you Essential Level 3 Electrical qualification (or equivalent) 17th or 18th Edition wiring regulations Experience within a maintenance, facilities or engineering environment Strong hands‑on approach with the ability to troubleshoot issues Able to work both independently and as part of a team Desirable Experience across additional trades (ex: plumbing, joinery, general maintenance) Experience working in an industrial, laboratory or regulated setting FLT licence (or willingness to obtain) If you are interested in this opportunity, please apply now #J-18808-Ljbffr
