Linux Engineer

Job Title: Tech Analyst Location: Montréal, QC Interview: Video Interview Description: Role Overview Join the UNIX Engineering team to design, build, and maintain large-scale Linux infrastructure and virtualization platforms. You will work on configuration management, automation, and backend systems supporting a globally distributed environment. Key Responsibilities Manage and enhance a global VMware-based virtualization platform Develop backend tools and provisioning systems (APIs/CLI) Automate configuration and system management using Ansible Ensure platform scalability, stability, and performance Collaborate with global teams on system design and improvements Required Skills Strong UNIX/Linux fundamentals Python development experience (backend systems, frameworks) Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible) Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Git, Jenkins) Troubleshooting across OS, network, and infrastructure Good to Have Experience with VMware / large-scale infrastructure Exposure to enterprise/global environments Knowledge of additional languages (Erlang, Prolog)
