Job Description
The LIMS Analyst Purpose: Support the implementation, configuration, testing, and optimisation of the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) across pathology services. Key Responsibilities: Gather and document business requirements from laboratory and clinical stakeholders. Configure LIMS workflows, user roles, and system functionality. Support data migration, system integrations, testing, and validation activities. Deliver user training, go-live support, and ongoing system improvements. Work closely with pathology teams, digital services, and suppliers to ensure successful implementation. Skills & Experience: Experience with LIMS or healthcare systems. Understanding of pathology laboratory workflows. Strong analytical, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
Experience with testing, data migration, or system integration is desirable. Knowledge of UKAS/ISO 15189 and NHS digital transformation programmes is advantageous.
