Learning and Development Manager

Learning & Development Manager Belfast – Food Manufacturing I’m working with a growing food manufacturer in Northern Ireland looking to appoint a Learning & Development Manager to build and lead the training function across the business. This is a newly created role with responsibility for developing, implementing and continuously improving learning and development across production, technical and support teams. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement the site learning & development strategy Build training matrices across all departments Design onboarding and competency-based training programmes Support production leadership with skills development Ensure compliance with food safety and customer standards Work cross-functionally with Operations, Technical and HR Track training effectiveness and competency progression Drive continuous improvement in capability across the site Ideal Background Learning & Development / Training experience in manufacturing Food manufacturing experience highly desirable Experience building training frameworks from scratch Strong stakeholder engagement skills Hands-on and structured approach
