Responsibilities for Kitchen Manager Responsible for oversight of Production & tray line service. Conduct training on Dietary procedures and expectations Develop schedule for kitchen staff to ensure coverage and maximize operational efficiencies Coordinate with the Dietary Manager and the cooking staff on the menu offerings Establish relationships with vendors Place food and supply orders as necessary Ensure the kitchen is cleaned and meets all regulations Ensure the food is prepared to quality standards, in a timely manner Qualifications for Kitchen Manager 3+ years of experience working in LTC or other facility. Valid ServSafe certification Excellent customer service skills Ability to effectively communicate with the kitchen staff Superior attention to detail Proficient with budgeting Skilled negotiator Available to work needed weekends, holidays, but no late nights.
