As a backend developer, youâll help design and deliver highâquality, highâperformance microservices that power customerâfacing features. How You Will Create the Extraordinary Development & Delivery Build and maintain Java microservices using Spring Framework and modern Java (17-25) Write clean, maintainable code aligned with team standards Implement automated testing (unit, functional, integration) Work with eventâdriven architectures using messaging tools like Kafka Collaborate with QA to ensure highâquality software delivery Take ownership of your work and deliver customer value Technical Contribution Apply functional programming principles in a microservices environment Develop on AWS using containerization tools like Docker Contribute to CI/CD improvements alongside DevOps engineers Participate in production support and shared onâcall rotation Stay current with technology trends and continuously improve your craft Engage in code reviews and provide constructive feedback Work within an âinternal openâsourceâ model across featureâaligned teams Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes Collaborate across teams and time zones in a supportive, feedbackâdriven culture Learn from and support others while growing your own technical expertise What You Will Need 3+ years of professional Java development experience Strong knowledge of Spring Framework and microservices architecture Experience with messaging systems (Kafka preferred) Familiarity with AWS, SQL/NoSQL, Docker, and automated testing Mindset & Skills Proactive and solutionâoriented with a bias for action Strong problemâsolving and collaboration skills Eager to learn, grow, and contribute to team success Comfortable supporting production systems Takes responsibility and follows through Enjoys working with others to build great software Equal Employment Opportunity The Company is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate against employees or applicants based on race, color, national origin, sex, age over 40, religion, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, veteran status, marital status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
