As an IT Systems Engineer (Client-Facing | MSP), you will be responsible for resolving complex issues, executing projects, and supporting secure, reliable client environments.This is a hands-on engineering role focused on delivery and execution.And to be clear:we’renot looking for anygeekoff the street.We’relooking for engineers who show up prepared, communicate clearly, take ownership, and can be trusted in high-visibility client environments.

Responsibilities Provide advanced technical supportonsite and remotelyand serve as an escalation point across client environmentsthroughout the Bay Area as needed.
Support cloud productivity and identity platforms (Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Azure AD / Entra ID). Manage and secure endpoints across Windows, macOS, and mobile devices using modern management and EDR tools. Set up and onboard new systems and users, ensuring devices, access, security, and core services are configured correctly from day one.
Troubleshoot networking technologies including firewalls, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, and wirelesssystems. Support conferencing and collaboration platforms such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and Google Meet, including conference room hardware for high-profile client meetings. Document systems, changes, and resolutions clearly and thoroughly.
Keep detailed track of all issues, resolutionstepsand time in Ventura Tech ticketing system. Always exercise good judgment,discretion,and professionalism when communicating with clients and vendors. Qualifications 5+ years of hands-on IT systems or MSP experience.
Experience with cloud-first and hybrid environments using Microsoft 365, Google Workspace and Azure AD / Entra ID, AWS. Experience supporting modern email platforms (Microsoft 365 Exchange Online, Google Workspace) and client applications (Outlook, macOS Mail). Strong experience supporting Windows and macOS devices in managed, security-focused environments.
Thorough experience with endpoint security, patching, and device management. Familiarity with backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions. Experience supporting conferencing and collaboration platforms (Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet), including room systems.
Excellent troubleshooting, time management, and communication skillswith meticulous attention to detail and white glove customer service. Must have a valid driver’s license anda vehiclefor client on-site work. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Electronics or Computer Science.
Relevant MSP certifications: Microsoft servers, Azure/M365, CompTIA Network+, Security+ (Cisco is a plus). Familiarity with ConnectWise Business Management software. Familiarity with N-Able or other RMM software.
