IT Infrastructure Engineer - Cloud

Salary: £55,000 - 55,000 per year Requirements Strong hands-on infrastructure support experience in a Microsoft cloud infrastructure environment, including Entra ID, Microsoft 365, Intune, Enterprise Device Management, and VMware vSphere Experience with Microsoft Server environments Strong experience with virtualization, particularly VMware vSphere, Intune, and modern workplace technologies Experience supporting Azure cloud-based solutions Some IT security experience would be an advantage Must be able to commute to our Cardiff office for a hybrid working pattern of 3 days in the office and 2 days from home Responsibilities Design, implement, and manage our IT infrastructure to meet current and future business needs Administer and support our Microsoft Server environments to ensure reliability, availability, and optimal performance Support our cloud infrastructure, particularly within Azure, ensuring seamless integration and operation Manage enterprise backup and recovery solutions to safeguard data integrity and security Implement, monitor, and enhance infrastructure security controls, proactively identifying and mitigating risks when directed by our IT security team Perform regular system audits and produce reports to support informed strategic decisions Provide technical expertise, guidance, and support to our IT colleagues and end users Work alongside senior engineers to deliver service to users across the company Contribute to infrastructure support, restore activities, security remediation, and technical documentation Technologies Azure Cloud Support Microsoft 365 Security VMware Office 365 Active Directory DevOps More We are a leading company based in Cardiff, expanding our IT team and offering a great opportunity to join at an exciting time of growth.
