IT Business Support Manager Role Description The IT Business Support Manager is a key responsible role in the Information Services department, providing business governance, process management, contract management, procurement management, budgetary management, health and safety, general administration and office support. This role is the key responsible person for the management of several NIW ICT Enterprise contracts, including mobile services, in addition to managing the achievement of service level agreements with third parties. The IT Business Support Manager leads the IS Business Services team comprising two IT business support staff and reports to the ICT Programme Support Manager.
This role also works closely with the Head of ICT Service Operations, the Head of ICT Programme Management, and other IT managers and staff, as well as internal and external customers and suppliers. Applicants MUST be able to demonstrate in their application and where necessary at interview: ESSENTIAL CRITERIA 1. Minimum of 5 GCSE’s Grade C or above, to include English and Maths, or equivalent. 2.
Minimum of 4 years’ experience working in a business support role with an understanding of the key tasks involved in managing, supporting and developing staff to include the following: Financial Budgetary Planning and Reporting in a public or private sector organisation. Operational Procurement in a public or private sector organisation. Data Analysis and Interpretation such as analysing and validating supplier bills, managing stock lists and inventories or customer service queries.
Creation of business reporting with data summaries and meaningful recommendations. Experience in managing 3rd party suppliers and contracts. Proficiency in MS Office applications.

What is on Offer Salary This band 6a role offers a competitive remuneration package with a salary scale of £32,166 to £39,314 per annum (pay award pending) The starting salary will normally be at the first point of the scale.
