Arrangement: Hybrid -3 days per week on site Salary: £39,000 per annum Other: Own transport required We're building a new cloud team and looking for an Infrastructure Engineer to join the team. This is a hands‑on role supporting and evolving Azure environments inside a Managed Services team. You'll work across compute, networking, and identity, keeping customer environments stable, secure and well‑run, while helping them sharpen how we do things.
You'll sit alongside senior engineers, architects and external partners, with real scope to grow into more advanced cloud engineering work. What you’ll actually be doing Supporting Azure environments day to day -deployments, patching, updates, lifecycle tasks. Helping troubleshoot ExpressRoute and hybrid connectivity issues.
Supporting Azure API Management -policies, certificates, integrations, incidents. Monitoring environments through Azure Monitor and Log Analytics, and responding to incidents and service requests. Contributing to Infrastructure as Code using Bicep, ARM or Terraform.
Writing and maintaining runbooks and operational documentation. Experience needed Experience as an Infrastructure Engineer in a Windows environment. Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, Windows Server administration.
Demonstrable experience working with Azure cloud services in a commercial setting. You've supported live Azure environments and understand how they behave under real-world load. Working knowledge of Azure networking, VNets, NSGs, and how traffic actually flows between them.
Nice to have Experience working in a managed service enviroment. Exposure to Azure networking (VNets, NSGs, VPNs). Scripting with PowerShell or Azure CLI.
AZ-900 or AZ-104. Infrastructure as Code using Bicep, ARM or Terraform. Why this role is worth a look You'll get real Azure exposure across multiple customer environments.
