Summary We are seeking a Mid or Senior Support Engineer to join our team in a critical platform operations role. This position requires a balance of handsâon break/fix responsibilities (60%) and strategic projectâbased work (40%).
The ideal candidate is highly inquisitive, driven by curiosity, and consistently asks âwhyââchallenging assumptions to improve processes, enhance system resiliency, and drive innovation through AIâpowered solutions. This role is hybrid with onâcall support one week per month and no travel requirements. Role Responsibilities System Support & Troubleshooting (60%) Provide seniorâlevel support across Kubernetes/OpenShift platforms, ensuring system stability and performance.
Lead break/fix resolution, incident response, and root cause analysis with a securityâfirst mindset. Perform advanced troubleshooting across DNS, networking fundamentals, and databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle). Maintain operational excellence through CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Argo) and automation with Ansible.
Project & Platform Initiatives (40%) Partner with crossâfunctional teams to implement cloud platform solutions on AWS, leveraging Terraform and Pulumi for infrastructureâasâcode. Lead security initiatives, including scanning, investigation, source code reviews, and compliance checks. Apply AI and automation to improve operational processes, solve complex problems, and create scalable solutions.
Drive best practices in CI/CD pipeline development, database performance optimization, and system monitoring. What weâre looking for Bachelorâs degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). Minimum of 6 years of experience in IT operations, systems administration, or a similar role.
Strong expertise in Linux systems administration, including proficiency in shell scripting and Linuxâbased tools. Handsâon experience with cloud technologies, such as AWS, Azure, or similar cloud platforms, including compute, storage, networking, and security services. Inâdepth knowledge of containerization platforms, especially Kubernetes/OpenShift, including deployment, management, and troubleshooting.
Solid experience with infrastructure automation tools such as Ansible. Experience with CI/CD pipelines using tools for building and deploying applications. Proficiency in infrastructureâasâcode (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Pulumi, or similar tools for managing cloud resources and infrastructure.
Deep understanding of databases: MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle. Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Argo) and best practices. Strong background in DNS, networking fundamentals, and platform security.

Strong analytical and problemâsolving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a teamâoriented environment.
