Information Technology Solutions Architect & Developer

The Position Our client is currently looking for an IT Solutions Architect & Developer to join their team. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, this person will serve as the company’s senior technical resource, responsible for designing, developing, and enhancing internal software applications and technical systems. The role provides architectural leadership across applications, data integrations, API connectivity, business intelligence reporting, and mobile device management, supporting multiple operating companies that run on a shared, industry‑specific ERP platform.

The ideal candidate will combine hands‑on technical ability with strong business acumen, communicate effectively with people at every level of the organization, and be self‑sufficient in managing priorities and directing their own work. Primary Responsibilities Administer and support the company’s industry-specific ERP system across multiple operating companies, including user setup, permissions, and access management. Design, develop, test, and maintain internal software applications to improve operational efficiency.

Build, maintain, and enhance Power BI reports, dashboards, and data models to support decision‑making across the organization. Administer the company’s CRM platform, including module customization, dashboards, lead and deal management workflows, and reporting. Develop and maintain API integrations connecting business systems, including CRM, electronic signature, and ERP platforms, as well as other third‑party applications.

Manage the customer‑facing e‑commerce portal connected to the ERP system. Maintain internal and legacy reporting tools and support end users with report creation. Administer Mobile Device Management (MDM) for company devices, including configuration, application control, and device security.

Work closely with leadership and all departments to understand business needs and translate them into scalable technical solutions. Collaborate across departments to automate workflows and eliminate manual processes, including through the use of AI tools. Manage vendor support relationships, including ticket submission, escalation, and resolution tracking with the ERP provider.

Document technical specifications, architectural diagrams, system updates, and internal procedures. Provide architectural oversight for new technology initiatives and advise leadership on best practices and long‑term technology planning. Other duties as required.

Qualifications Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent required. (5-10) years of experience in software development, architecture, or enterprise technology roles.

Demonstrated experience building Power BI reports, dashboards, and data models. Candidates with deep Microsoft SQL Server expertise and strong business acumen will also be considered. Hands‑on development experience in Python, React/Node.js, PHP, or a comparable language, including version control with Git/GitHub.

Experience working with APIs, including integration of third‑party applications. Experience with server‑side databases such as Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL. Experience with a major CRM platform (Zoho, Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar) and with Mobile Device Management (MDM) systems.
