Tax is a $100B+ industry, and professional tax software is years behind what AI can now deliver. We’re building agentic AI that automates tax end to end: not a copilot, but an autonomous system that reasons over messy real-world data, plans multi-step processes, and executes them with expert-level accuracy. We started last year with a team out of Amazon’s AGI org, saw strong traction with early customers, and just closed a seed round backed by tier-1 investors.

Now we need someone to own the revenue engine. This is a founding go-to-market hire, the person who takes a product that’s already winning with early customers and turns it into a repeatable, scalable sales motion across the accounting industry’s most influential firms. If you’ve sold into Top 100 accounting firms and know how to navigate complex, multi-stakeholder deals in this space, this is your shot at building something from the ground up with equity upside to match.

WHAT YOU'LL DO Own the full sales cycle from prospecting through close, targeting Top 100 and mid-market accounting firms Build and execute the go-to-market playbook: outbound strategy, pipeline development, deal progression, and closing Develop relationships with tax practice leaders, technology partners, and firm decision-makers across the accounting ecosystem Work closely with the founders and product team to translate market feedback into product direction and competitive positioning Hire and build the sales team as the company scales Represent the company at industry conferences, roundtables, and in direct conversations with firm leadership WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR 6+ years of B2B SaaS sales experience, with a track record of closing six-figure deals Direct experience selling to Top 100 accounting firms, you know the buyers, the sales cycles, and how these firms evaluate technology Background in tax workflow automation or accounting technology (e.g., Thomson Reuters, Wolters Kluwer, SurePrep, Gruntworx, SafeSend, K1x, Karbon, Canopy, Aiwyn, Botkeeper, or comparable) Proven ability to build pipeline from scratch, you don’t wait for inbound; you create opportunities Strong executive presence and the ability to lead complex, consultative sales conversations with firm partners and C-suite BONUS POINTS Experience as an early sales hire at a startup that has hyper scaled Existing relationships with tax practice leaders at Top 100 firms or regional firms with national reach Familiarity with the professional tax software landscape and the pain points firms face during tax season Experience selling AI or automation products into risk-averse, compliance-driven industries COMPENSATION This is a high-impact, high-reward role. Compensation includes a competitive base salary, attractive commission structure, and meaningful early-stage equity. Performance is rewarded, if you build the revenue, you share in the upside.
