About the Role We are seeking a handsâon, exceptional leader, Head of Engineering, to drive our multidisciplinary team and own delivery from concept to deployment. What Youâll Do Lead a highâperforming team of engineers, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages innovation. Grow the team from 10 to 30 members quickly. Oversee and create the timeline of both the development and testing phases to meet commercial commitments.
Coordinate the integration of hardware, electrical, and software elements, fostering effective collaboration between multidisciplinary teams. Implement agile working practices within the team to enhance productivity and collaboration, ideally using Scrum sprints and epics. Balance bigâpicture thinking with handsâon execution, driving projects from conception to scale.
Groom existing partnerships and create collaboration with suppliers to streamline development.Present technological developments to customers and inventors. Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements, fostering a culture of selfâlearning and professional growth within the team. Demonstrated experience in agile project management. Ability to move between strategy and handsâon engineering. Experience leading small engineering teams and delivering complex technical projects endâtoâend.
Exceptional emotional intelligence with strong teamâmanagement skills. Experience leading multidisciplinary and multicultural teams. Ability to thrive in fastâpaced, highâpressure environments.
